Delete your Thunder account

For merchants and couriers who use the Thunder app or the merchant dashboard by Thunder: how to ask us to delete your account, and what happens to your data.

How it works

  1. Ask us

In the Thunder app, tap Delete account (merchants under More, couriers at the bottom of the home screen), or in Settings on the merchant dashboard. You can also send the form below, or call or message us.

  2. We check it’s you

A request from the app comes from your signed-in account. One made by email or phone we confirm on your account’s phone number first.

  3. We delete it

Within 30 days of your request. Until then the account works as usual, and you can cancel the request in the app.

Request deletion

This opens your email app with the request ready to send.

I am a…
The one your account uses, or the one the parcel was sent to.

What we delete

  • Your sign-in: phone number, password, signed-in devices and notifications
  • For merchants: every login and its name, the email for invoices, the bank account for payouts and the branches’ phone numbers; API keys are revoked and webhooks switched off
  • For couriers: email, ID, licence, vehicle and bank details, and the photos of your documents

What we keep, and for how long

  • Orders and their history, invoices, payments, payouts and pay records, with the details they need (a business’s name and ID numbers, a courier’s name and JMBG): for as long as the accounting, tax and labour laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina require, then they are deleted.
  • Anything needed for an open claim or dispute: until it is settled.
  • Courier location points are deleted after 30 days in any case.

Received a parcel?

People who receive parcels have no Thunder account. To ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted, send the form or contact us with your phone number and, if you have it, the order code.

Applied to be a courier?

Ask the same way to have your application and its documents deleted.
